Scope of the Program
Commercial Sponsorships
Corporate Sponsorships for the following:
- Healthcare Organizations
- Professional Conference Organizers
- Patient Organizations
- Registered charities,
- Non-Governmental Organizations, or
- Other types of entities, as permitted by law.
Common Sponsorship opportunities include, but are not limited to:
- The opportunity to present at industry-sponsored Satellite Symposia programs or product theaters
- Exhibit/Booth display space
- Inclusion of Company logo on Conference/Congress material
- Advertising space in related brochures, journals, and other media;
- Other promotional opportunities (e.g., eBlasts, mailers, door drops, etc.) paid for by or on behalf of LivaNova in connection with the Conference/Congress.
LivaNova may reject or approve (in full or at a lower amount) at its absolute discretion.
PLEASE NOTE: Requests that relate to Investigator Initiated Research or "IIRs" (i.e., research that may or may not involve LivaNova devices) or Grants & Donations (i.e., educational grants, charitable, and indigent care donations) are NOT within the scope of LivaNova's funding for Commercial Sponsorship Program. Eligibility Requirements
In order to be eligible and able to apply for a LivaNova Commercial Sponsorship, all of the following conditions must be met. LivaNova reserves the right to discard any applications that do not meet these Eligibility Requirements.
1) Applications must be submitted electronically using LivaNova’s MedCompli portal at least 8-10 weeks prior to the date the funds or products are needed, in order to allow appropriate time for the review and processing of the request.
2) Applications must be submitted by or on behalf of an acceptable Requesting Party (i.e., Healthcare Organizations, Professional Conference Organizers, Patient Organizations, schools or other educational centers, registered Charities, NGOs). Funds/products will only be provided to organizations, and never to individuals acting on their own.
How to Apply for Commercial Sponsorships
All proposals must be submitted using LivaNova's MedCompli portal. By visiting this third-party portal, you will be able to create an account, submit an application, and track the status of your request.
This Quick Reference Guide outlines the process for registering and submitting Commercial Sponsorship applications through the MedCompli Portal, LivaNova’s official system of record for all requests.
Submissions will be reviewed by the Commercial Sponsorships Committee, and a decision will be communicated to the requestor within 8-10 weeks of submission.
