Drug-Resistant Epilepsy: Hot Topics in the Use of Neuromodulation
The goal of this activity is to improve clinicians’ understanding of drug-resistant epilepsy (DRE) and clinical trial findings regarding FDA-approved neuromodulation devices to help clinicians make evidence-based decisions about the use of neuromodulation devices in patients with DRE.
Upon completion of this activity, participants will have increased knowledge regarding:
- Consequences of drug-resistant epilepsy on patients
- Factors to consider when selecting an appropriate neuromodulation therapy for patients with drug-resistant epilepsy
- Long-term clinical data on the use of neuromodulation in patients with drug-resistant epilepsy
