To ensure the safe application of an MRI scan for patients with VNS Therapy*, answer the questions below.
*Applies to completely intact and functioning implant. For special cases (potential lead breaks, partially explanted systems, remaining lead segments with intact system), please refer to the MRI Instructions for Use.
Upper left chest, at or above armpit
Position of the generator should be above rib 4. X-ray may be used to identify the generator position if it is not easily identified or palpated.
